Food forests put power, resilience and sustenance back into the lives of people. For generations humans have transitioned from living on the land to living in cities and with that our relationship to nature has changed. It’s time to reclaim our inherant connection to earth, heal ourselves and the planet. Food forests are a giant step in the right direction. Learning to grow, harvest and share your bounty is a fulfilling experience. We can grow healthy food that can heal us without chemicals. We can decrease our dependancy on monoculture crops and industrialized agriculture. Book a short consultation to discuss what options are available to get you started. The best time to plant a tree was yesterday. Lets start to really consider the next 7 generations and get our roots connected back to the land.

I had the pleasure to co-create with the lead designer Lindsay Brandon at Food Forest Abundance during the design of Simply Wyldwood Freedom Farm Academy in Texas. My experience was one of growth of an even deeper respect for our land. I loved stewarding my land before but now have a stronger connection and the ability to partner providing solutions that will also sustain my lifestyle. Lindsay took the time to get to know me and what was most important to me all the while reminding me to listen to the land and then congratulating me when I heard the message. She truly cared as much for my project as I did.
